Li joined us when we first opened in 2001 and the daily challenges and pressures have failed to diminish his energy and devotion to establishing a successful bar within the restaurant. After personally visiting all the vineyards in Europe who supply their wines to Mango Tree, Li makes all the decisions as to which wines we stock in order to compliment the recipes Mark Read creates. His mastery of the bar also involves concocting new cocktails so whether it is a classic martini or a bottle of the finest Bordeaux you’re after, ask for Li and you will be guaranteed a first class greeting and a friendly face!
